We Can Get Your Battery-Operated Clocks Running Again

It used to be that if you wanted an inexpensive, worry-free clock, you bought a simple, time only, electric clock.  However, once battery operated clock technology reached its peak with the advent of the very accurate “quartz” clock, electric clocks, with their awkward looking electric cords hanging down the wall, fell out of favor.  Since then, decorative battery-operated clocks have become very popular. Although it is impractical in most cases to try to repair the original battery movement, the movements can be easily replaced with new ones.  We “repair” a hundred or more battery clocks every year.  Because of this, we stock a wide variety of battery movements, from the micro versions, for very small clocks, to high powered movements designed to drive large hands on large dial clocks.  We also have pendulum and chiming varieties as well.  For the simplest of battery movements, if we are not too busy, we may even replace one for you while you wait.
